UN Security Council ineffective, says Brazilian President

Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has criticised the United Nations Security Council for its ineffectiveness, attributing this to its own members starting recent major wars.

"Today, the United Nations Security Council doesn’t work,” he said this at a joint media conference with Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim during his official visit on Saturday (Oct 25).
