Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin says undocumented foreign workers may get a chance to be hired legally if plans to allow employers to hire those held at detention centres goes through.
In an interview to mark his 100th day in office, Hamzah said the move will address the issue of employing foreigners without valid permits.
He added that the idea was still on the drawing board as there were issues that needed to be addressed before the proposal could be materialised.
