Unit owners, tenants returning from hometown cannot be barred from their homes, says Ismail Sabri

Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri on Thursday (May 14) urged the management of high-rise buildings to allow unit owners and tenants returning from their hometown to enter their homes as there are no laws barring them from doing so.
He said this in response to reports that some Malaysians, who returned to their rented units after being stranded in their hometown during the movement control order, were refused entry by the management and were forced to find an alternative.
