In conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri on Saturday (April 22), the King has called on Malaysians from all walks of life to unite and ensure harmony and peace in the nation.

Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah in his Hari Raya Royal Address also said this year, Malaysians from all walks of life can celebrate Hari Raya without any forms of restrictions in a peaceful country, which is different compared to Muslims in Palestine that was recently attacked by Israeli forces.

Meanwhile, the King also extended prayers from himself and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aiminah Mainunah Iskandariah on the ongoing conflict in Sudan, and said he and the Raja Permaisuri Agong were appreciative of those who had to work during the festive season, especially medical officers, soldiers, the police and all members of government agencies.
