Unity and stability a must for Malaysia to grow, says PM

Malaysia must remain united and stable to ensure development and economic growth, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The Prime Minister said that at the national-level Malaysia Day celebration in Kuching, Sarawak Saturday night, and saluted the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) state governments for supporting the Federal Government in the interests of unity and stability.

Anwar also thanked the people of Sarawak and Sabah for their love and affection towards the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Raja Permaisuri Agong on their Kembara Kenali Borneo from Sept 3 to 13, that he will direct the government to study each letter that the King received during his tour, and they will try to resolve all the issues raised.
