Uphold ESG principles and increase state forest reserves, urges Pahang Regent

The Regent of Pahang has reminded all parties to practice environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles and urged the state government to examine and review the rules and existing standard operating procedures.
Tengku Mahkota Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah said this at the opening of the state assembly sitting in Kuantan on Monday (Aug 23), and called on the state government to increase the size of forest reserves in the state to ensure Pahang remains the peninsula’s green lung.
