Uproar in Dewan Rakyat over direct-negotiation projects under Pakatan govt

The August House erupted after Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz revealed that under the Pakatan Harapan administration, 101 projects worth a total of RM6.61 billion were approved by Finance Ministry through direct negotiations.
This led to heated exchanges between both Perikatan Nasional MPs and Opposition MPs.
Beruas MP Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham later was asked to leave the floor after he refused to comply with Speaker Datuk Azhar Azizan Harun’s order.
