Use of sockets in express buses temporarily banned by APAD

The Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) has temporarily banned socket use on express buses pending the investigation into the alleged electrocution of a teenager on board, says Transport Minister Anthony Loke.
During Ministerial Question Time in the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday (Nov 7), Loke stated that a special task force has 14 days to report on the incident's cause.
In response to Yusuf Abd Wahab’s (Tanjung Manis-GPS) question on the safety of charging ports on flights, Loke explained that aircraft manufacturers, as well as ETS trains must meet specific standards for these installations.
