Vaccination rate of adult population in six states targeted to reach 50% before September, says PM

Efforts will be focused on six states in the country to ramp up the vaccination rates among the adult population there, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

The Prime Minister said that on Sunday (Aug 29), adding that the government has targeted for Perak, Terengganu, Johor, Kedah, Kelantan, and Sabah to have 50% of their adult population to be fully vaccinated by September at the very latest.

Ismail Sabri also said the government will look into moving the Klang Valley to Phase Two of the National Recovery Plan (NRP).
