VEP installation to be delayed by at least six months

Transport Minister Anthony Loke on Monday said the installation of the Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) scheme will be delayed by “at least six months”, while the ministry looks at improving the implementation process of the radio frequency identification (RFID) tags for Singaporean vehicles.
He said this during a spot check at the Pasar Seni LRT Station in Kuala Lumpur.
