Victim’s home address misused by scammer, received threats from loanshark

Two victims of alleged scams appeared at a press conference together with MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Seri Michael Chong on Tuesday, claiming that their house and vehicle were splashed with red paint, andthat they also received threatening messages and a video clip of a house being thrown petrol bomb from a loanshark or Ah Long, called KK.
One of the victims who wanted only to be known as Chai, said the loanshark also sent him a copy of an identity card and water bill with his home address and demanded repayment for the outstanding loan.
