Vietnam and Spain on Wednesday (April 9) pledged to boost economic ties and defence cooperation amid growing pressure from newly imposed US tariffs.

The two nations reaffirmed their commitment to free trade and multilateral cooperation during a visit by Spainish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez in Hanoi.
