Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Mohammadin Ketapi told reporters after launching the Visit Malaysia Year 2020 sticker in Kuala Lumpur on Friday that the visa-on-arrival facility would help boost tourist arrival to the country.
The ministry targets to receive four million more tourists from China and one million more from India this year.
Mohammadin said he did not think the visa-on-arrival facility would add to the problem of foreigners overstaying in the country as there are laws to deal with the problem.
