Waste management company and landowner in Bukit Teh dumpsite claim trial

The landowner of the illegal dumpsite in Bukit Teh, Penang, who was fined a paltry RM1,000 for allowing land the size of six football fields to be turned into a dumpsite, has been slapped with two more charges at a Magistrate's Court.
H’ng Boon Chai and waste management company PLB Eco Solution Sdn Bhd were charged with illegally developing the area.
Both pleaded not guilty to initiating the development on the nine lots of land without planning permission from the Seberang Prai Municipal Council (MPSP).
