Water shortage crisis: Cabinet orders expanded mitigation efforts

Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said the Cabinet has been briefed on the low water supply situation affecting several states and will intensify mitigation efforts, including cloud seeding operations.

He said the operations will involve the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) and the Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), with coordination and funding provided by the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA).
