We have no jurisdiction over cyclists, says JPJ

Road Transport Department (JPJ) director-general Datuk Seri Shaharuddin Khalid on Monday (Sept 14) said in the context of the law, JPJ does not have jurisdiction over cyclists and could only advise them on issues relating to road safety.
He said this in response to a question regarding a social media post about a group of cyclists who were photographed cycling on a highway, reportedly near Seremban.
