Weakening Shanshan reaches Tokyo, leaves at least six dead

Tens of thousands in Tokyo have been urged to evacuate as Typhoon Shanshan, now downgraded to a tropical storm, continues its northward trek across Japan.
At least six people have died as Shanshan moved eastward on Saturday (Aug 31), unleashing torrential rain and triggering landslide and flood warnings hundreds of kilometers from its center.
