MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong on Thursday slammed a news report quoting DAP assemblyman Chong Zhe Min that Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) has a net cash surplus of RM97.22mil in 2018.
He expressed disappointment over the report and told reporters that the university’s financial report was available at the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).
Dr Wee also questioned Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng's announcement that funding of at least RM30mil annually beginning from this year shall be restored immediately so long as MCA gives up control of TAR UC.
