Two whale sharks were spotted off a coastal province in the Gulf of Thailand- a rare occurrence for the area in recent years.
A diver who filmed the two sharks who showed up at a dive site in Rayong said they proceeded to “greet” the divers in the vicinity.
These large-but-friendly sharks were surrounded by a large number of small fish throughout the video.
According to the diver, who shot the video, one of the whale sharks caught on film was seven-metres long while the other, which was not captured on film, was roughly four-metres long.
He added that these sharks were last spotted in the area several years ago, as shared by his fellow divers.
