Woman fined RM30,000 for animal cruelty that resulted in death of a dog

A woman was fined RM30,000 at a Sessions Court in George Town, Penang on Monday (Sept 7) for neglecting two dogs, resulting in the death of one of them.
40-year-old admin clerk Oh Ju Lian pleaded guilty to a charge of unreasonable treatment of two dogs belonging to her, causing them unnecessary pain and suffering.
