Works Minister Baru Bian said there are no moves at the moment to abolish tolls until the government's fiscal situation has been revived to a healthier level when answering a supplementary question by Ahmad Fadhli Shaari (PAS-Pasir Mas) in the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday.
To a question by Muslimin Yahaya (PH-Sungai Besar), Baru said the government was looking at alternative ways to deal with the issue of tolls which include lowering toll rates, implementing a flat-rate toll system and offering discounts on toll rates during off-peak periods.
