World's largest chipmaker announces new US$100bil plan in US

TSMC announced on March 3 that the Taiwanese semiconductor company plans to make an additional US$100 billion investment in the United States and build five additional chips factories in the coming years. TSMC is the world's largest contract chipmaker.
