Yellow marigolds for the late King Bhumibol

Residents living in a district in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand are encouraged to plant a large number yellow marigolds as it will be used in the royal funeral of the late King Rama IX.
The funeral is scheduled to be held in Bangkok in October.
These yellow flowers are a priority for this project by a local authority in the province as the colour signifies Monday under a Thai tradition.
King Rama IX was born on Dec 5 in 1927, which was a Monday.
He passed away last year on October 13 at the age of 88.
A state funeral service for King Bhumibol Adulyadej is scheduled from Oct 25 to 29, with Oct 26 set as the cremation day at Sanam Luang ground.
