After wowing South by Southwest (SXSW) festival-goers with their performance back in March, Yogyakarta ska group Shaggydog is set to release a documentary of their experience taking part in the annual event in Austin, Texas.
Martinus Indra Hermawan, general manager of the band's own record label DoggyHouse Records, shared how the documentary follows Shaggydog's journey bringing only a sound engineer, Pak Ting, and a videographer/photographer, Boris from Malaria House. Despite the limited number of personnel, the group had the opportunity to shoot a music video for a single from their latest album, "Rock Da Mic", while strolling the streets of Houston, and connected with world-class producers such as Baauer from "Harlem Shake".
