Zafrul: Reports predict 54% increase in business activities, GDP growth of 7% to 8% for 2022

Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz on Wednesday said a HAYS report predicted that Malaysia’s business activities would increase by 54% and this would augur well for the country in its recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.
He also said RAM Ratings predicted that the country would bounce back in 2022 with a projected GDP growth of 7% to 8% after achieving herd immunity against Covid-19 by the end of 2021.
