Zahid withdraws application for return of passport

Former deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is facing 46 charges for criminal breach of trust (CBT), money laundering and corruption withdrew his application for the return of his passport at Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court on Wednesday.
Dr Ahmad Zahid was scheduled to go for umrah this Jan 17, but due to time constraint, his client decided to postpone it.
He said he would be filing a new application for the return of the passport.
