Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz on Monday dispelled a rumour that the Council of Eminent Persons had sent out letters to top CEOs, telling them to step down. On June 6, Bank Negara Malaysia governor Tan Sri Muhammad Ibrahim and Telekom Malaysia group CEO Datuk Seri Shazalli Ramly resigned, raising questions of a ‘corporate cleansing’ in the coming days and weeks ahead.
