Zii Jia's jersey error ‘critical’, let authorities take appropriate action, says Fahmi

National badminton player Lee Zii Jia's mistake of wearing a jersey with the Jalur Gemilang flag upside down at the HSBC BWF World Tour Finals has been called a "critical error".
Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil, speaking to reporters on Saturday (May 10), acknowledged the apology from the world’s number eight player but emphasised that the incident reflected significant negligence.
Fahmi also noted that his ministry has not received any reports from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) regarding sensitive remarks related to the incident.
