Zulkifli reconfirms no haj for Malaysian Muslims this year

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri on Tuesday (June 23) reconfirmed that all Malaysian pilgrims including those with Furada visa would not be performing the pilgrimage this year to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.
Saudi Arabia had announced that it will bar arrivals from abroad to attend the haj this year, allowing only a limited number of Saudi citizens and residents to make the pilgrimage with social distancing measures enforced.
