There will be no police deployed for the Annual General Meeting of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia, which kicks off here Friday (Dec 28), says Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
He said that as the AGM is solely about the political party, Bersatu leaders would not abuse their powers and use government authorities for party matters.
He was speaking to the media after chairing a Bersatu supreme council meeting to brief its members about the preparations of the AGM, which kicks off later Friday night.
The Bersatu president also said PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang are expected to attend the Bersatu Annual General Meeting.
