Anwar says he may have been misunderstood on calling for Azmin’s resignation

PKR President Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Thursday said he accepted the statement signed by a group of PKR leaders who said he should not have called for his deputy, Datuk Seri Azmin Ali's resignation and to stop making divisive statements.
While he acknowledged that these were good intentions to unite the party, Anwar said he may have been misunderstood.
Among those who signed the statement were party vice-presidents Zuraida Kamaruddin, Tian Chua, Ali Biju and Dr Xavier Jayakumar.
