Berjasa president to contest in Tanjung Piai polls

The Pan Malaysian Islamic Front (Berjasa) announced on Friday that it will be fielding its president, Datuk Ir Dr Badhrulhisham Abdul Aziz in the Tanjung Piai by-election.
In the 14th General Election, its party member Nordin Othman contested under the PAS banner through Gagasan Sejahtera, a coalition made up of PAS, Parti Ikatan Bangsa Malaysia, Berjasa and Parti Cinta Malaysia.
The Tanjung Piai parliamentary seat became vacant following the death of its incumbent Datuk Dr Md Farid, who was Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, on Sept 21.
