The transition power from prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is something that was unavoidable, says Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

Muhyiddin, who is also the Home Minister, said this when met after attending a meeting with ministry agencies at Pontian police district headquarters on Friday (Oct 25), and pointed out that it was not a question of who but the timing of when it would took place where he called upon Pakatan Harapan leaders to sit down and agree upon the matter and stop all the infighting.

The Pontian MP was asked to comment on the transition of power between Mahathir and Anwar Ibrahim whether there was a date set for it to happen.

Muhyiddin however pointed out that he does not recalled whether the was a date set in the agreement for the transition to happen.
