Hisham: Pakatan parties should make public stand on Malay unity

Former Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein urged Pakatan Harapan coalition parties to make a public stand on the call by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad that Malay political parties join Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu).
Speaking to reporters in the Parliament lobby on Monday, the Sembrong MP said any effort for Malay unity must take into consideration the multi-racial composition of the country.
On Friday, Dr Mahathir made a call for Umno members to join Bersatu since political division among the Malays was growing.
