Hishammuddin’s press secretary lodges police report over viral letter addressed to King

Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein’s press secretary, Hafiz Ariffin, lodged a police report at the Dang Wangi district police headquarters on Thursday (June 24) over a viral letter addressed to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, claiming that the Sembrong MP has Barisan Nasional's support to be the new prime minister.
Speaking to the press, Hafiz said the report was lodged to enable the police to conduct investigations under Section 469 of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
