Upko President Datuk Wilfred Madius Tangau on Thursday clarified that the 2013 Royal Commission report on illegal immigrants and recommendations were never acted upon as it was too sensitive due to various implications on the party.
He said this when responding to former Kimanis MP Datuk Seri Anifah Aman, who had accused him of being a traitor in the fall of the Barisan Nasional state government in May 2018.
Anifah said he believed the action of the Upko president becoming a Parti Warisan Sabah ally had caused the Sabah Temporary Pass (PSS) issue to emerge.
