Mahkota polls: Johor MB will name Barisan candidate, says Zahid

The Barisan Nasional candidate for the Mahkota by-election will be announced by Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, says coalition chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Speaking to the media on Thursday (Sept 5), Ahmad Zahid also clapped back at calls by Opposition leaders asking him to “take a break” amid allegations that he misled the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong during the submission of statutory declarations (SDs) for the formation of the unity government
