Membership registry needs cleaning up, says Bersatu chairman

Nomination day for Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia branch and division party polls needed to be postponed as there is a dire need to clean up the membership registry first, says Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Dr Mahathir, who is also Bersatu chairman, said on Monday that candidates would also be vetted before they are allowed to contest as the party was looking for people of a "certain calibre".
