Negri crisis to be resolved through 'political means', says Zahid

The ongoing political turmoil in Negri Sembilan will be resolved through “political means” in accordance with the state constitution, says Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Ahmad Zahid, who is also Deputy Prime Minister, said on Tuesday (April 28) that efforts to address the situation are a priority to ensure a constructive resolution.

When asked whether he would be meeting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim over the matter, he said a meeting is scheduled later on Tuesday.
