PKR's success measured by benefit to the people, not Cabinet seats, says sec-gen

PKR's efficacy and success depends on what it delivers to the people as opposed to the number of Cabinet positions held by its members, says Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

Speaking at the PKR 25th convention on Sunday (April 21), the party secretary-general said that it would be deemed successful in implementing its reform agenda by way of government policies introduced to benefit the people.

Saifuddin, who is also Home Minister, said it was also of utmost importance to take good care of the nation's coffers even if some unpopular short-term decisions were needed, and reminded all PKR members to always remember the challenges the party faced in the past.
