Port operators nationwide should step up decarbonisation to meet international environmental standards and stay competitive, says Transport Minister Anthony Loke.

Speaking after launching Port of Tanjung Pelepas’ electric prime movers in Johor Baru on Thursday (Oct 8), Loke said Malaysia also aims to position its ports as green bunkering hubs as the shipping industry moves towards alternative fuels and net-zero emissions by 2050.
