State polls: PKR to contest 20 seats in S'gor, rapper Altimet gets nod in Lembah Jaya

Caretaker Selangor mentri besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari will defend his Sungai Tua seat in the upcoming Selangor state elections while rapper Altimet, whose real name is Syed Ahmad Syed Abdul Rahman Alhadad, will be fielded as the candidate for Lembah Jaya.

In announcing the PKR candidates list on Saturday (July 22), Prime Minister and Pakatan Harapan chief Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said Amirudin and Negri Sembilan caretaker mentri besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun will remain as Pakatan’s Mentri Besar candidates for Selangor and Negri Sembilan respectively, while DAP’s Chow Kon Yeow will be the chief minister candidate for Penang.
