Too early to name PM candidate for GE16, says Zahid

It is too early to name a candidate for prime minister in the next general election, says Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The Barisan Nasional chairman and Umno president said it remained unclear when Parliament would be dissolved.

On negotiations involving Barisan ahead of the Melaka state election, Ahmad Zahid said discussions would begin only after the state assembly is dissolved.
