UEC holders specialising in Chinese language ever-present at Teachers Training Institutes since 2011

The decision to accept UEC holders for the PISMP programme specialising in Chinese language at Teachers' Training Institutes (IPG) has been ongoing since 2011, says Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin.
The Education Minister said that when asnwering a question by former Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik (IND-Simpang Renggam) on the Ministry's stance regarding whether to accept UEC holders for the PISMP programme at IPG.
To the initial question, Dr Radzi said that the Education Ministry was committed to improve the quality and competency of teachers nationwide.
