As Umno marks its 80th anniversary, the party is moving beyond celebrating its legacy and shifting focus towards building a new generation of leaders to secure its relevance and political survival over the next two decades, says Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The Umno president said the milestone should not merely commemorate the party’s past but serve as a platform for long-term planning and leadership renewal as it charts its course towards its centenary in 2046.
