Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail has denied that her visit to Julau, Sarawak, ahead of the state PKR’s party elections had any ulterior motive.
After attending a work visit to Sekolah Tunas Bakti in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, Dr Wan Azizah, who is also the women, family and community development minister said following the original schedule of the party elections, she was meant to arrive at Julau after voting had ended.
Dr Wan Azizah said that when asked to comment on PKR central committee member Latheefa Koya’s claim that the outgoing president’s visit implied her support for the Rafizi Ramli camp.
